Welcome to FlipQuotez. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a safe, enjoyable gaming experience. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data in compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APP), international privacy standards (such as GDPR/CCPA), and Google Play Developer guidelines.

1. Data We Collect (And What We Don't)

FlipQuotez is designed to collect the absolute minimum amount of data required for the game to function.

• No Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We do not ask for your email, real name, age, physical address, or phone number.
• Anonymous Authentication: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication. This generates a random, anonymous ID to securely connect your device to our Leaderboards without identifying who you are.
• Leaderboard Data: If you choose to submit a score, we collect the display name you type, your flip count, your current streak, and a timestamp. Please do not use your real name or any sensitive information as your display name.

2. Local Storage & "Cookies"

Instead of tracking you across the internet, FlipQuotez uses your device's local storage to save your game progress offline. This includes:

• Your current game state (so you can close the app and resume).
• Your "Streak" counter.
• Your UI preferences (Light/Dark mode, Haptics, Child Mode, Sound).

This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly submit a score.

3. Child-Friendly Design & Safety

We comply strictly with Google Play's Families Policies and international child protection laws (such as COPPA):

• We offer a built-in Child-Friendly Mode in the Settings menu, which completely disables all social sharing and external links.
• We do not run targeted advertisements.
• We do not track precise location data.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Leaderboard data is stored securely via Google Firebase. Because accounts are anonymous, we periodically purge old leaderboard entries to maintain system performance. If you clear your browser cache or uninstall the app, your local streak and anonymous ID will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

5. Analytics

We use basic, anonymized analytics to see which puzzles are too hard or too easy, and to count how many people play daily. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.
